In Honor of Marriage Equality

Family & Wedding

As a gay wedding professional, I am so proud of my home state of New York for granting marriage rights to all citizens. Marriage Equality is not an issue of religion or political stance. It is an issue of social justice and civil rights. This is a fight our world has struggled with throughout the ages. In celebration of our progress in the fight for fairness, I will be happily donating free wedding photography to one gay or lesbian couple planning on marrying in 2011 or 2012. Five top couples will be chosen based on their stories and featured on lesbian/pop-culture website Autostraddle.com and the winning couple will be chosen by the readers! The package I’m giving away is valued at $4000 and includes wedding photography coverage, editing of images, an online gallery, as well as a DVD of high resolution files.

I was honored to be asked by Brides to do follow their local magazine editors for a day at the 2010 NYC Bridal Market, an event that is a lot like fashion week, but for everything bridal. The slideshow can be found here.
